There’s only one way to do things, the right way!
After deciding that stone is the correct material for the project, many clients aren’t quite sure what the next step is. We feel it’s our duty to provide detailed technical information, pertinent to the trade, which brings your finished product closer to the finish line.
Design isn’t just about form but has to have the function to go along with it. There is no replacement for time in the industry to know how to do things correctly, and avoid potential pitfalls.
Colonial Marble does every single job in house. You will always see the same team of people working on your project, start to finish. The starting point for most projects is the template. One of our field technicians will visit the job site, take accurate measurements and/or make full size templates. At this point, a site survey will also be done to take stock of the surrounding conditions. This will help account for any potential issues that may arise.
All of Colonial Marble’s fabrication is done on site in our 15,000SF factory. With our overhead crane, wet saws, and various other machinery, we are able to create any project you can dream up with ease. With several skilled craftsmen, your project is handled with personal care, every time. We have the capability and education to engineer large, medium and small scale projects.
When requested by the designer, builder or architect, shop drawings can be created for any project.
Having been the original stone setters for many of buildings in Boston and surrounding areas, Colonial Marble possesses the knowledge and experience necessary to accurately provide historical restoration in many of these locations. If your stone might need a little TLC, complete replacement, or repair, all of these must be done with great care to ensure historical integrity is maintained.
